Album of etchings published by German engraver and publisher Johann Bussemacher. 33 etchings (out of 40?), depicting scenes from the book of Genesis – the creation of the world, Adam and Eve, Noah's Ark, the Tower of Babel, the war of the four kings with the five kings, Jacob's Ladder and more. The etchings are attributed to artist Symon Novelanus.
The album is incomplete and contains etchings nos. 1-9, 11-24, 27, 29, 31 and 32 (numbered in the plate) and six unnumbered etchings. Album: 26X33.5 cm. Good-fair overall condition. Stains, creases and several tears (slightly affecting prints). Restored tears to first page. Minor worming to bottom margins of all leaves. One leaf trimmed at bottom margin.
