Variant. In the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book, record 0201675, a different edition is listed with Targum Onkelos [with pagination: 282, 282-329, 340-487, 489-508 leaves]. This edition without Targum Onkelos is bibliographically unknown and is not in the NLI.

Biblia Hebraica / Esrim VeArba'a [Twenty four (books of the Bible)] - The five Books of the Torah, with Nevi'im Rishonim, Achronim and Ketuvim "according to the order of the ‘open' and ‘closed' parshiot… without vowels… proofread with careful inspection". Amsterdam, [1701]. Printed by Gerardus Borstius and partners.
Three title pages, the first is illustrated with an engraving depicting Moses and Aharon and the Kodesh HaKodashim (Holy of Holies). The second title page is in Hebrew and the third is in Latin. Latin introduction and Hebrew poem: "Torat Olam…".
Two columns per page. Rabbi Aryeh Levine was accustomed to using a Bible from this edition, printed in 1701, for the execution of Goral HaGra according to the special tradition passed on to him from the Vilna Gaon, through his teachers, the heads of the Volozhin Yeshiva. [For information about the famous Goralot (lots) performed by Rabbi Aryeh Levine for identifying the bodies of the Lamed Heh convoy that died in service, see the enclosed copy of the book "Ish Tsaddik Haya", pp. 113-117, with a photo of the Bible in which the Goral was performed].
[6], 292 leaves, 293-306, [4] pages. 15.5 cm. Good condition. Few stains and wear. Wear restorations on first title page. Handsome binding.

Tehillim (Psalms) as customary in Sephardi communities, published by "Sinai", Tel-Aviv, [1940s].
Small format Tehillim, divided into 31 separate volumes held in an original tin box. This set was used in a Jerusalem synagogue. At the opening of each volume appears a dedication ink stamp in memory of a member of the Ventura family, who died in 1947.
Volumes: 11.5 cm. Fair condition. Tin case - Height: 12 cm, length: 13.5 cm, width: 19 cm. Fair-good condition. The lid is detached and part of the lock is missing. Rust and some old repairs.

· Two leaves from Arba Turim [Choshen Mishpat, Simanim 299-306]. [Soncino, c. 1490, printed by Shlomo son of Moshe Soncino].
· Leaf section from Nevi'im Achronim, Yeshayahu. [Lisbon (Portugal), 1492 printed by Eliezer Toledano].
· Three Chumash leaves with Targum, Rashi and Ramban commentaries. [Salonika, 1521 printed by Yehuda Gedalya]. (Leaf of Parshat VaYechi and two leaves of Parshat Shelach).
