Chagall Lithographe [The Lithographs of Chagall]. Two first volumes from a series of six volumes, published by André Sauret. France, 1960-1963. French.
Dedicated to Chagall, with reproductions of his works and original lithographs.
1. First volume, 1960. Includes 11 original lithographs (most in color) inside the book, and an additional original lithograph on the volume's dust jacket. 220, [1] pp, 32 cm. Good condition. Small tears to dust jacket.
2. Second volume, 1963. Contains 11 original lithographs inside the book (some in color), and an additional original lithograph on the volume's dust jacket. 209, [1] pp, 32 cm. Good condition. Slight damage to margins of dust jacket.

Passover Haggadah, Yaacov Agam. 58 original serigraphs, "pulled by hand on Rivs 270 Gr. (Arjomarie-Prioux) by Atelier Arcay in Paris", 1985.
Introductory leaf signed by Agam and numbered H.C. 3/9. First and last prints also signed by Agam. "All color separations were produced by the artist, all screens used for each image were destroyed".
Exquisite velvet binding in matching original box, 52X42.5 cm. Very good condition. Slight defects to box.

Collection of items related to the "Bezalel" art school.
1. Original sketch for the front wrapper of the postcard binder "The Jewish Settlements in Palestine, series A.", by Ze'ev Raban. The binder was published by the Yaakov Ben Dov publishing house.
A collage composed of pieces of photographs and a watercolor on paper illustration (signed in the bottom right corner). Paper card: 12X17 cm (illustration: 9X13.5 cm).
2-3. Two paper stubs (identical), "Bezalel Cooperative Store", designed by Shmuel Ben-David. Signed by the director Boris Schatz and by the treasurer. On the reverse of one of the stubs is a stamp of the "Carmel Mizrachi" company from 1913. Approx. 5X13.5 cm.
4. Jerusalem, general view, undivided postcard. Sent to Boris Schatz in Jaffa by Yisrael Dushman (1994-1947, poet, writer, translator and teacher; one of the first teachers at the "Herzliya Gymnasium") and Yisrael Yehuda Adler (1870-1948, a philanthropist and Hebrew teacher, one of the founders of the "Herzliya Gymnasium" and of Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan). A short handwritten letter with a request "to send us written permission to enter the 'Bezalel' school", signed by Dushman and Adler. 9X14 cm.
5-6. Two bookplates (identical), "Ex Libris (Boris) Schatz", designed by Ephraim Moses Lilien. Approx. 9.5X6.5 cm.
7. Three paper labels (attached) with the "Bezalel" logo. Apparently such labels were used internally at the "Bezalel" school, as labels for marking books or objects produced at the school during the first years after its establishment. 4.5X10 cm.
