Letters of condolences, written by hand (a number of letters are printed) on forms of JNF and the Uniunea Nationala Evreiasca din Transilvania (National Jewish Union in Transylvania). Bound together. Transylvania, [ca. late 1930s - 1940s; one letter is dated 1948]. Hungarian, Romanian and Hebrew.
A collection of letters of condolences, some from representatives of organizations and Zionist groups. The letters are written on designed forms of JNF forms and the National Jewish Union in Transylvania (a similar design: on the background appears an illustration of planting trees and an open book inscribed "Sefer HaYeled" [Child's Book] and "Sefer HaZahav" [Golden Book]).
A number of letters are addressed to Jeno Bartok in the town of Arad, Romania (one letter, from the representatives of HaPoel HaMizrahi in Arad, reads: "to our like-minded friend J. Bartok, we grief with you and know that you will find condolences in your Zionist work"). The letters are bound in a Bristol cover, with a printed illustration of a candle and the inscription "Ner Hashem Nishmat Adam" and "In Memoriam Ernst Vermes" [in memory of Ernst Vermes)].

The collection includes: six British Mandatory passports (British Passport, Palestine), among them passports of the families Kunin, Goldberg, Aharoni and Kahana; a passport issued in Danzig in 1923; identity card (dowód osobisty) issued in Baranovich in 1932; three American passports (1930s-40s); Identity Card on behalf of Palestine Government (1946); five Israeli passports on behalf of the State of Israel and two "Laissez Passé" on behalf of the Immigration Office ("Instead of a National Passport"); membership card, "HaHistadrut HaKlalit shel HaOvdim HaIverim BeEretz Israel"; "Identity Card" on behalf of the State of Israel Ministry of Interior; certificate on behalf of the State of Israel Health Ministry (vaccination booklet and "Certificate - Blood Donor").
