Personal inscription: “This book remained from my father… the Ga’on Rabbi Yechezkel Bennet, Shlomo Bennet…”.
The Ga’on Rabbi Yechezkel Bennet, Av Beit Din of Seini (1863-1913, Otzar HaRabbanim 9022), disciple of his grandfather the Ga’on Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried author of “Kitzur Shulchan Aruch”, and son-in-law of the Ga’on Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Glick Av Beit Din of Tolcsva. Authored nineteen compositions in Halacha and Aggada of which Meshiv Ta’am Respona was printed. In 1908 his son, Rabbi Shlomo, edited and published the composition “Shem Shlomo” by his grandfather Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried.
