Likutei Amarim Tanya, by R. Shneur Zalman of Liadi – the Baal HaTanya. Brooklyn NY, Kehot Publication Society, 1982.
This edition was distributed by the rebbe at the Hitvaadut on 11th Nissan 1982 together with a dollar for charity – the present lot includes only the Tanya, without the dollar.
Handwritten inscription inside front board: "From the Rebbe, eve of 12th Nissan 1982". With signature of recipient.
Special edition of the Tanya (edition 164), printed in honor of the eightieth birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe – 11th Nissan 1982, and distributed by the rebbe to the participants of the Hitvaadut on that occasion. Towards the end of the Hitvaadut, which lasted five hours, the rebbe explained the idea of this Tanya edition – in order to hasten the coming of Mashiach, it was suggested to print all the Tanya books ever printed throughout the world, in one volume. Indeed, this book contains pictures of the title pages of all editions of the Tanya printed up until then, and facsimiles of Tanya Mahadura Kama manuscripts.

Kuntres Ahavat Yisrael, collection of teachings on the commandment of loving ones fellow Jew. Brooklyn NY, Kehot Publication Society – "Special edition", 1977. Printed in honor of the Rebbe's 75th birthday.
Inscription inside front cover: "Received from the rebbe". With signature of recipient.
This booklet was first printed in Elul 1976, following the rebbe's announcement of the Ahavat Yisrael campaign.
In 1977, the rebbe began propagandizing for the appointment of a mashpia in every location, and instructed to reprint a special edition of the Kuntres for mashpiim. He then distributed it on various occasions to mashpiim and shluchim.
On 11th Nissan 1989, the rebbe distributed the remaining copies, in honor of his birthday, and the present copy was presumably received on that occasion.

Manuscript, copying of the Chassidic essay on Karov Hashem LeChol Kore'av by Rebbe Maharash. [Lubavitch, ca. 1869].

This discourse was delivered by Rebbe Maharash on various occasions, and was published in Torat Shmuel.
