Manuscript on Parchment - Kabbalistic Prayers and Kavanot for the Toke'ah - 18th Century

Opening: $800
Unsold
Manuscript, Kabbalistic prayers and kavanot for the person who blows the Shofar (Toke'ah). Calligraphic scribal writing and Rashi script. With (cutoff) glosses on margins. [Italy? Ca. 18th century].
The manuscript contains many prayers. At the beginning of the manuscript: "After Kriyat HaTorah, he should prepare himself to fulfill the mitzvah of teki'at shofar". Contains many Kabbalistic prayers, some according to the Ari and Shla HaKadosh [on Leaf 5/a, the writers cites the Shla, Leaf 217/b, according to the first edition, Amsterdam, 1648], and some appear in Chemdat Yamim. On Leaf 1/b is a prayer for a toke'ah "who does not understand G-d's secrets", and on Leaf 2/a is a prayer for a toke'ah who "understand G-d's secrets".
Apparently, the writer of the prayers was a Kabbalist, who wrote the prayers in his own language, with slight variations from the known versions.
[6] leaves. 20 cm. Thin parchment. Good condition. Stains. New vellum binding.
