Owners’ signature on title page: "I have merited this book by a great man, the renowned Holy Torah genius… Maran Yitav". His disciple Menachem Mendel Shapira” with his stamp "Here in Dragomireşti". Two scholarly glosses in his handwriting signed "Menachem, the author's disciple".
Rabbi Menachem Mendel Shapira (1863-1940), grandson and disciple of the Mahariatz Weinberger Av Beit Din of Margareten. Also studied under the author, the Rebbe, author of “Yitav Lev”. In 1911, he was appointed rabbi of the provinces of the settlements in the vicinity of his city Dragomireşti. Author of “Moznei Tzedek” (Mukachevo 1912) and “Hin Tzedek” (Mukachevo 1913).
