Three amulet necklaces, with cylindrical amulet cases. Palestine, village of Attil, Tulkarm Governorate, [early 20th century].
Silver; silver coins; beads.
Two of the necklaces are identical in design, specifically, a particularly long chain from which three cylindrical amulet cases – a large one in the center flanked by two smaller ones on the sides – are suspended. The third necklace bears a single amulet case, from which crescent-shaped and hamsa-shaped pendants and coral beads dangle. Suspended from the other amulet cases are coins, beads, and chains with silver coins.
