Prominent disciple of the Chozeh (Seer) of Lublin, and later on among the greatest disciples of Rabbi Simcha Bunim of Peshischa and of Rabbi Yitzchak of Vorka. After the death of Rabbi Yitzchak of Vorka, succeeded him as Rebbe. His son was Rabbi Yechiel Danziger - the first Rebbe of Alexander.

Additional signature on title page by "Ya'akov Bar Avraham from [Giginheim Yazinbach?]". Additional signatures from a later period, from the 1800s.
