Copper set with colorful enamel.
The spies are depicted in Egyptian/naive style. The rest of the plate is decorated with a bird and flowers.
Diameter: 33.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Some damage to the enamel settings and some bending primarily on the plate margins.

Enamel vase inscribed in Hebrew "Ben Porat Yosef". [Syria, end of 19th century].
Copper set with enamel, on the upper part, a decorative cut-out.
Floral decoration in shades of green, blue, and pink. The upper part of the vase is inscribed in Hebrew: "Joseph is a fruitful bough, A fruitful bough by a well", written with disruptions.
Height: 22cm, diameter of base: 11.5cm, some color repairs and bending in the rim.

Brass seal which belonged to "Ya'akov son of Zanvil Kaliech in Safed
(Hebrew) / Jakob Kaliech in Saffed".
Rabbi Ya'akov (Yantshi) Kaliech moved to Safed from Ustrzyki Dolne, Poland, with his parents Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil Kaliech and his wife Frieda. Died in Safed in 1897. His parents died in Safed in 1883 and 1909. Frieda was the daughter of Rabbi Ya'akov Uri (Ari) of Turka from his second marriage with the daughter of Rabbi Moshe Shoenfeld, son in law of Rebbe Zvi Elimelech of Dinov, author of "Bnei Yissachar". Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil was the son of Rabbi Yesha'ayahu Shlomo Zalman Kaliech, Rebbe of Ustrzyki and Esther Roise of Ustrzyki and Litovisk.

Charity (Zedaka) box of the "Gemilut Chesed " society. Budapest, [1920s].
Silver plated metal; etched brass plaque.
Charity box for placing on a table or hanging on the wall, of "Gemilut Chesed" society in Budapest. On the upper part is a brass plaque with an illustration of the Jewish orthodox hospital on Városmajor street, which was burnt down with its inhabitants by the Nazis during WW II. Above the illustration appears the inscription "Bpesti orth. Chevra" and "Gemilut Chesed" (Hebrew); under the illustration appears the inscription "Adakozzunk jótékony intézményünkre" [help us to donate to our charity institutes].
