Fourteen issues of a periodical about theater, edited by B. Gorin (pen-name of Yitskhok Goyde), containing articles, critiques, advertisements and other articles about the Yiddish theater in the early 20th century. Bound together in two volumes, with gilt embossing on the spines.
Number of pages varies between the issues, approx. 25 cm. Good-fair overall condition. Stains and minor blemishes (mostly to wrappers of issues). Tears at margins of a number of leaves (mostly small). Large open tears to endpapers (new). Bindings in good condition, with minor blemishes.

הרומן "אקסודוס" (Exodus) יצא לאור באנגלית ב-1958 ובשנות השישים הוא תורגם ליידיש על ידי דוד קרפינוביץ ומלך קרפינוביץ. החוברות שלפנינו התפרסמו פעם בשבוע ונמכרו בקיוסקים במחיר 25 אגורות. בחוברות 34-31 נדפסה פרסומת להקרנה הראשונה של הסרט "אקסודוס" ב"היכל התרבות" בתל אביב.

Berglsohn (1884-1952), Yiddish playwright and author, was executed by Stalin in 1952.
[4], 7-48 pp + [8] illustration plates, 26 cm. First leaves are loose and almost entirely detached. Creases and stains. Some tears at margins of leaves (a tear, reinforced with adhesive tape on the first leaf). Ink-stamp on last page. Pencil inscriptions and a bookplate on front endpapers. Blemishes to spine and to corners of cover.

The novel Exodus, which was published in English in 1958, was translated into Yiddish in the 1960s by David Karpinovitz and Melech Karpinovitz. These booklets were published weekly and sold at kiosks for 25 agorot apiece. Booklet 31–34 contain an advertisement for the first showing of the film "Exodus" at Heichal Hatarbut in Tel Aviv.
12 issues, approx. 18 cm. Condition varies. Overall fair-good condition.
