Letter from Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson, the Rebbe Rayatz of Lubavitch. Brooklyn, New York, 5th Iyar 1949.
Typewritten on the Rebbe Rayatz's official stationery, with his signature: "Yosef Yitzchak", with the letter Yud (at the beginning of his second name) in Stam script – the special signature he used in the last year of his life, with words added by hand.
Addressed to "the student" Yitzchak Levi, in response to his letter on his engagement. The Rayatz blesses him with a Mazal Tov for an auspicious wedding, harmony and happiness.
At the end of the letter the Rayatz adds by hand the words:
"Physically and spiritually".
"Physically and spiritually".
