Letter from Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson, the Rebbe Rayatz of Lubavitch. Brooklyn, New York, 10th Av 1949.


Typewritten on the Rebbe Rayatz's official stationery, with his signature:
"Yosef Yitzchak", with the letter Yud (at the beginning of his second name) in Stam script – the special signature he used in the last year of his life, with words added by hand.
Addressed to "the distinguished student" Yitzchak Levi, instructing him to schedule the wedding in a place chosen by the bride's father, and at a time agreed upon by both parties. The Rayatz blesses them with G-d's help and harmony.
At the end of the letter the Rayatz adds by hand the words:
"With all good, physically and spiritually".
This letter has not been published in the Rebbe Rayatz's Igrot Kodesh.
