A large tablecloth with embroidered decorations portraying biblical scenes, symbols and customs related to the Shalosh Regalim (the three pilgrimages) and Rosh HaShanah, chapters of Pirkei Avot and prayers. The tablecloth is an example of the custom of German Jewry to use elaborate fabrics for special ceremonies celebrated during the Jewish Year.
