Proclamation issued by the Battalion for the Defence of the Language calling the general public in the country to speak and write only in Hebrew. 31.5X46 cm. Good condition, tears, folding marks.
Battalion for the Defence of the Language was an organization which was active during the years 1923-1936 and trying to protect the Hebrew language, spreading it and integrating the language into daily life of Jews in Eretz Israel.
