Torah shield. Germany, 20th century. Cast copper, silver plated. Tablets of the Law and two lions appear in the center. On the lower part is a rectangular box for placing plaques with the Weekly Torah portion or the holiday. A large Torah crown appears on the upper part of the shield. In the background is a decoration in the shape of a "Parochet". Openwork at the edges (partly broken). Two loops for chains on the sides (upper loop is missing). Maximal width: 25 cm. Maximal height: 35 cm.
