Torah Scroll. Italian script (Vellish). [North Italy, c. 19th century]. Soft light-brown parchment. Written by several writers. Several replaced membranes and late corrections. The spaces and fashion of the petuchot and segurot (“open and closed”) parshiot are different than the custom today. Trussed with a white fabric wimpel (without inscription), with blue ribbons for fastening. Height of parchment: 40.5 cm. Fair condition, stains and dampness. Erasures and faded ink. Without Atzei Chaim.
