"Tenu Shirah" - leaf with blessings for reading the Book of Esther, in the format of a "Shiviti". Persian Kurdistan, [1930].

"Tenu Shirah" leaves, opening with the piyyut "Tenu Shirah" and named alike, including "Lamenatzeach" Menorah and blessings for reading the Scroll of Esther, are unique for the Jews of the Persian Region.
On both sides of the Menorah appears a dedication in Persian, in Hebrew letters, "Jht Nur Jashmi, the student Abdallah ben Sura". Dated below the Menorah (date is deleted).
Length: 45 cm, width: 36 cm. Fair condition. Wear, stains and fading. Numerous folding marks, with tears at the folds, slightly affecting text. Mounted on a cardboard sheet.
