Sidrei Tahara, with Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De'ah, laws of Nida, Rabbi Elchanan Ashkenazi Av Beit Din of Shatland. Berlin, 1783. First edition with approbations of rabbis of Frankfurt am Main (author of the Hafla'a and others).
Signature of Rabbi "Yosef HaCohen Shatin of Frankfurt am Main". Leaf 27/1 contains erudite gloss in same handwriting (opening: "Eshtamitati Toseftaג€¦"). Rubbed out ownership notations in which he is mentioned as Av Beit Din of Gluga. Apparently - the Ga'on Rabbi Yosef Yozfa HaCohen Shatin chief of Beit Din of Lisa and Av Beit Din of Gluga; passed away in 1794 and was eulogized by his relative the "Chatam Sofer" (Sermons of the Chatam Sofer, pp. 103). For additional information about him see letter of the Chatam Sofer ("Igrot Sofrim", letter 39) who writes that he knew him personally and was a cousin of his father. Among his descendents: The Rebbe Rabbi Chanoch Henech HaCohen of Alexander.
Early stamps of the Netziv - Rabbi "Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin Rosh Metivta of Volozhin" (1817-1893) and lengthy erudite gloss in his handwriting (opening: "And it appears to meג€¦").
