The book includes eleven engravings depicting Jewish tombstones and graves: nine engraved plates (one folding), and two in-text engravings. Additional in-text illustrations and sketches. Attached to three of the engravings are paper flaps, which, when lifted, expose tomb interiors. [15], 285, [2] pp. + [9] engraved plates (one folded), 20 cm. Good condition. Minor stains and blemishes. Tear to edge of folded plate (not affecting print). New endpapers and binding. Binding somewhat worn.
