Starting with this edition, the essays on the Talmud, which were formerly printed separately in the book Yismach Lev, were printed together with the book Meor Einayim on the Torah, under the title Meor Einayim (two editions of Yismach Lev were printed before this edition: Slavita, 1798; Zhovkva, 1800).
Handwritten inscriptions on the verso of the title page and on the final page, including an inscription with kavanot for ritual immersion.
39, 1, 3-23, [1], 27-34, 39-72, 75-136 leaves. 19.5 cm. Bluish paper. Fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Minor wear. Worming, affecting text. Tears, including minor tears to title page, slightly affecting border; one tear repaired with paper (over part of border). Tears to several other leaves, affecting text in one place, repaired with paper. Leaves trimmed with damage to headings. New leather binding.
