Chiddushei Torah manuscript, “by the great luminary, astute and learned genius… Rabbi Leibish Yulis Av Beit Din of the Sebeș congregation…”.
Chiddushim in Sugiyot: Simanim D’Oreita or D’Rabanan, Ye’ush Shelo MiDa’at, and Katan Ochel Nevelot.
Upon first page [and in additional places]: “I, the author, Yizchak Weiss of Nagyida [Hungary]”. Signature upon margin of one of the pages: “Avraham Pepper”.
Rabbi Yehudah Leibush Yulis (1819-1905, Otzar HaRabbanim 7290), among the geniuses of Hungary, Av Beit Din of Sebeș. Was about to print a book of responsa in Halachah written by him [see attached material], which was apparently lost in the difficult period that followed.
[24] Written pages. 21 cm. Good condition [last page in fair condition restored with paper glue]. Stains and wear.
