Numerous modifications from what ended up in his printed book, the Beit David responsum (Vienna 1920).
Rabbi Ze'ev Wolf Leiter (1892-1974), outstanding Torah genius, of the leading Galicia and USA rabbis. Famous Iluy since childhood, corresponded with the great rabbis of his generation, the Admor Rabbi David Moshe of Chortkow blessed him with diligence in his Torah learning. At age 12 wrote his first essay, the “Divrei Chachamim” responsum. The scholarly replies in the present manuscript were written before he had reached his twenties. Served as rabbi since 1910. Moved to the USA during the 1920’s and served as Av Beit Din of Pittsburg since 1922. (See enclosed material).
