Two books belonging to the Rebbe Tzvi Elimelech of Dinov, the Bnei Yissachar, bound together:
1. Sefer Maggid Ta'aluma, Novellae on Tractate Brachot. Premishle, 1876. First edition.
[2], 114 leaves. 29.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. Most copies were printed on thin fragile paper, here the paper is in good condition.
2. Ve'heye Beracha, Volume 1, on Mishnayot, Brachot and Tosefta. Premishle 1875. First edition. (Owner listed on title-page from 1878 "Meir Ben Rachel Rosenf…of Teglash").
[1], 37 leaves, 29.5 cm. good condition. Stains. Title-page cropped and stained; two pages missing after the title-page.
Rebbe Tzvi Elimelech Shapira of Dinov (1783-1841) was a disciple of the Seer of Lublin and Rabbi Menahem Mendel of Riminov. He wrote "Bnei Yissachar" and many other books. The Munkacz Dynasty is descended from him.
