Letter by Association of "Agudat Yisrael of America", to members of "Agudat Yisrael" in Eretz Israel, Tevet (1973). Signed by Torah giants: Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, Rabbi Moshe Horowitz – Bostoner Rebbe, Rabbi Baruch Sorotzkin the Telshe Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Nachum Mordechai Perlow – Rebbe of Novominsk, Rabbi Shneur Kotler Rosh Yeshiva of Lakewood Yeshiva and Rabbi Moshe Sherer.
In the letter written in honor of the primary election in Eretz Israel, members of the USA Agudat Yisrael directorate call out, to all faction leaders “whom we are certain operate for the sake of heaven”, to be cautious in preserving the honor of the Torah, which is the fundamental role of "Agudat Yisrael". At margins of letter they note that “this letter is totally internal and confidential and we request that it not be publicized in any manner whatsoever – other than to whom it is intended”.
