Lengthy letter (2 pages) handwritten and signed by R. Isser Zalman Meltzer, dean of the Etz Chaim yeshiva, to R. Yaakov Landau Rabbi of Bnei Brak. Jerusalem, Iyar 1945.
Letter of Torah thoughts. R. Isser Zalman responds to R. Landau's remarks on topics discussed in his book Even HaEzel on the Rambam.
In response to R. Landau's question regarding cheese produced by non-Jews (R. Landau delt extensively with this halachic question at that time), R. Isser Zalman writes that he no longer issues halachic rulings (since leaving the Slutzk rabbinate in 1925).
