Collection of dozens of rabbinic letters addressed to R. Yaakov Landau Rabbi of Bnei Brak. Letters of recommendation, letters of congratulation on joyous occasions, good year wishes and wishes for festivals, and more. [Ca. 1930s-1980s].
Partial list of the rabbis who wrote the letters: R. Isser Zalman Meltzer dean of the Etz Chaim yeshiva, R. Tzvi Pesach Frank Rabbi of Jerusalem, R. Yitzchak Eizik HaLevi Herzog chief rabbi of Eretz Israel, R. Yitzchak Nissim chief rabbi of Israel, R. Tzvi Elimelech Halberstam of Netanya (later Rebbe of Sanz), and others.
One of the letters is from the heads of the Chabad chassidut in Eretz Israel, signed by R. Shlomo Yosef Zevin, R. Avraham Chaim Naeh and R. Azriel Zelig Slonim, inviting R. Landau to a meeting following the passing of Rebbe Rayatz. Jerusalem, 4th Adar 1950.
