Addressed to R. Avraham Gafni in Melbourne, in response to the news of his completing the process of his conversion to Judaism. At the beginning of the letter, the rebbe quotes the saying of the sages "A convert is like a newborn" (Yevamot 97b), and blesses him: "I hope and pray that you will retain this feeling of joy and exaltation, and the deep sense of responsibility and other worthy feelings which you expressed, throughout your life, and that these feelings be the true dynamic forces in your daily life, to live up to the Torah and Mitzvoth in the fullest measure".
At the end of the letter, the rebbe instructs him to remain in touch with the Chabad yeshiva in Melbourne, so that they can be of assistance to him, and he expects to hear from him good news in all of the above, as well as in regards to a suitable match.
