Lengthy letter (2 pages, 48 lines) handwritten and signed by Rabbi Moshe Feinstein. [New York], 4th Tishrei 1964.
The letter begins with R. Moshe's blessings for a gmar chatima tova. This is followed by a Halachic responsum on the laws of the second festival day in the Diaspora, concerning a man from Eretz Israel living short-term in Canada. This responsum was printed in Igrot Moshe (Orach Chaim 3:75).
Rabbi Moshe Feinstein (1895-1986), leading posek in the United States, head of the Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah and dean of the Tiferet Yerushalayim Yeshiva in New York.
