An extensive and diverse collection of labels of book sellers, antiquarians, study books and stationery stores, university book stores, book merchants and book binders. The labels are intended for pastung on the inner side of the book binding.
Numerous labels in this collection are European, from the early 20th century, and they represent a great number of stores - many of them Jewish - for books and accompanying products. Some labels of the same store tell the story of its development or the changes that it underwent. Many of the labels in this collection are of bookstores in Palestine (some of them are from the first decades of the 20th century). Some items appear in numerous copies.
Size and condition vary. Some of the labels are partly attached to paper sheets.
