Manuscript, "This notebook belongs to the charity society of the Orthodox community of Kiskunfélegyháza, (Hungary)". [1880 and onwards].
Fine illustrated title page [the name of the artist is written in the margin: "Avraham Weber of the Tótkomlós children"]. The year on the title page is 1880, three years after the Orthodox community was founded in Kiskunfélegyháza. Many names of community members were listed in the notebook. On the first pages is an alphabetical list of names, and afterward personal pages for contributors/members [some of the pages were reused and additional names were entered]. The names of members are decorated with artistic frames.
[4], 76 leaves (most are written only on one side). Thick paper. 28 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains, wear and tear. New binding combined with remnants of the original binding and clasps.
