Leaf fragments from an old binding, including a ketubah written in Tafilalt, Morocco, in 1838, and an endpaper with the name of the Baba Sali.
• Fragments of a decorated ketubah. Sijilmasa (Tafilalt, eastern Morocco), 24th Kislev 1838.
• Endpaper inscribed with the name of R. Yisrael Abuchatzeira, the Baba Sali.
The binding which the ketubah fragments were found in may have been part of a book used by the Baba Sali.
Several leaves, mostly blank endpapers, with two ketubah fragments (lacking lower part of ketubah with signatures), and leaf with inscription of R. Yisrael Abuchatzeira. Size varies. Fair condition. Stains. Open tears and worming.
