Tax code for the Jewish community of Verona, Italy. A booklet containing 17 regulations that determine the method of tax collection in the community. The booklet begins with the list of community leaders who took part in the meeting at which the regulations were established, on March 28, 1802. Signed on the final page with the printed signature of the community scribe, Vita Salomon Levi, who was responsible for penning it.
Two in-text etchings, one signed in the plate "Jac. Leonardis" (Italian etcher and engraver, Giacomo Leonardis).
10 pp., approx. 25.5 cm. Good condition. Few stains and minor blemishes. Old notation in margins of one page (Italian). Contemporary ornate cover.
