On the title-page and on leaf 18, signature in Sephardi handwriting by Rabbi "Yosef Chalfon", stamp of "Wolf Leib Rainer" and on second leaf, signature in Rabbi Ya'akov Chai Zarihan's handwriting (Chief Rabbi of Tiberias).
22.5 cm. Thick paper. Good-fair condition. Stains and slight moth damages to inner margins of first leaves. Detached binding, no spine.

Rabbi Eliyahu Anav, a leading rabbi in Constantinople. Disciple of Rabbi Eliyahu Palombo, in 1804 signed first amongst the disciples of Rabbi Eliyahu Palombo on the introduction to his book "Yad Ha-Melech". Rosh Yeshivah and Dayan of Balat. Served as chief rabbi of Constantinople in 1826. Died in 1832.
Few glosses in Sephardi handwriting.

Levanon – Gan Na'ul, commentary on the Hebrew language and its roots, word-games and poetic phrases, by Rabbi Naftali Hertz Weisel. Amsterdam, 1765, Part I only. First edition.
On top of title-page, there is a partial owners' signature "-– the author, Mordechai Yitzchak Tama". Rabbi Mordechai Ben Yitzchak Tama translated the Rambam's responsum from Arabic into Hebrew in the book "Pe'er Ha-Dor". Levanon – Gan Na'ul was published in the same year and the same printing press, so it is reasonable assume that the full signature said "I received this book from the author, Mordechai Yitzchak Tama".

2-3. Two volumes of Mishnayot (Tractates Nashim and Zera'im). Vilna 1891. In Tractate Nashim, ink-stamps "Eliyahu bar Y. Lapian" and ink-stamps of the Pinsky family; in the Tractate Zera'im, ink-stamps of the Pinsky family. In both volumes it is handwritten: "I verify that this Mishnayot belonged to my grandfather Rabbi Eliyahu Lopian, signed by his grandson Arye Pinsky".
