Siddur Im Dach
The Chabad Siddur, which Chabad Chassidim call Siddur Im Dach (an abbreviation of Divrei Elohim Chaim), contains the text of the Siddur, the anthology of laws and Chassidic discourses originally delivered mainly on Shabbat to his sons and several elite disciples. The text, laws and two discourses (HaKol Kol Yaakov and He'arah LeTikun Chatzot) were composed by the Baal HaTanya, and printed in his lifetime in several editions. The other discourses were recorded by his son the Mitteler Rebbe and edited for press by his grandson the Tzemach Tzedek.
Some of the discourses were recorded and edited by R. Dov Ber in his own style, with the addition of explanations and expansions, and some of the essays are a verbatim transcription of his father's words, without any of his own additions. In his foreword, R. Dov Ber describes the system of recording his father's discourses. He writes about the discourses which he edited and expanded, how he reviewed them time and again to ensure they are understandable and accessible to people of all levels. Conversely, the discourses transcribed verbatim were edited and approved by the Alter Rebbe himself.
A large portion of the essays printed in the siddur are discourses on the Zohar delivered by the Baal HaTanya regularly on Shabbat eves. His son writes regarding these discourses that it is plainly obvious that the Rebbe benefited from Divine inspiration (foreword to Beurei HaZohar, Kopust, 1816).

Siddur Torah Or
The Siddur compiled by the Alter Rebbe, Rebbe Shneur Zalman of Liadi – Siddur HaRav – was printed during his lifetime in several editions, in Shklow and Kopust. From the Alter Rebbe's passing until 1886, the Siddur was reprinted in dozens of editions. In many of the editions, the printers did not carefully preserve the accurate text of the prayers and laws, and in some editions they combined the Alter Rebbe's text with texts of other prevalent Siddurim. In the 1880s, R. Avraham David Lavut, Rabbi of Nikolayev (Mykolaiv; maternal grandfather of the Lubavitcher Rebbe), began studying and researching the original text of Siddur HaRav. To that end, he searched for editions of the Siddur published in the lifetime of the Baal HaTanya. Upon finding such a Siddur, he set to work proofreading and correcting the text of Siddur HaRav according to the siddur he found. In 1886 he printed the Siddur HaRav in Vilna under a new title – "Siddur Torah Or".
However, immediately after the first version of the Siddur was published, R. Lavut obtained another edition of Siddur HaRav, published in the lifetime of the Alter Rebbe, which contained some variations. In light of this, R. Lavut produced a new, corrected edition of Siddur Torah Or – the Vilna 1889 edition. But the same event repeated itself – immediately after printing the 1889 edition, R. Lavut obtained a third edition of the Siddur printed in the Alter Rebbe's lifetime, and he began to edit a third, updated edition of Siddur Torah Or. This third edition was published after R. Lavut's passing in 1896.
The Siddur, published by R. Lavut, was supplemented by two of his own works: "Shaarei Tefillah", focusing on the sources, versions, and traditions on which the Alter Rebbe based his Siddur text and customs, and "Netiv HaChaim", which compares contradicting rulings in "Derech HaChaim" by R. Yaakov of Lissa, and the Alter Rebbe's Siddur and Shulchan Aruch.
Collection of ten Siddurim according to the Chabad rite.

Torah Or, Chassidic homilies on the Torah, Tehillim and Shir HaShirim by Rebbe Shneur Zalman of Liadi, the Alter Rebbe, along with Maamar HaHitbonenut by his son R. Dov Berish [the Mitteler Rebbe of Lubavitch]. Lemberg (Lviv): Michael F. Poremba, [1851].
Selected Chassidic homilies on the Torah, Tehillim and Shir HaShirim by the Alter Rebbe. [Despite its name, the present work is not identical to the Torah Or printed by the Tzemach Tzedek in Kopust, 1837 (some of the homilies were, however, printed in the Torah Or and Likutei Torah printed by the Tzemach Tzedek]. Maamar HaHitbonenut at the end of the book is the second part of the book Ner Mitzvah VeTorah Or, also called Shaar HaYichud [here only 31 of the 54 chapters of Shaar HaYichud are printed].
