Various signatures and ownership inscriptions. Notes from 1721, that the book belonged to Rabbi Moshe of Bomsle – Rabbi Moshe Charif Brandis, one of the great scholars of his generations, grandson of the Maharal. Disciple of Rabbi Avraham of Broda. 1717-1733, Rabbi of Bomsle, and from 1733 through his passing in 1767 – Rabbi in Mainz. His novellae were published from the manuscript in the book Chidushei Rabbi Moshe Charif, Jerusalem 1987 – see the introduction for his biography.
At the head of the title-page, his faded signature appears., as well as the signature of Rabbi Binyamin ben Hirsh Niderhapheim (1810-1885, the most famous Mohel in his time, founder of the Orthodox kehilla in Frankfurt am-Maine. See more about him in enclosed material).
