BeHar HaKodesh Yerushalayim – printed letter by R. "Avraham Eliyahu son of the tzaddik Mr. Yaakov Bin Nun, born and residing in Jerusalem". Jerusalem: Yitzchak (Gościnny) and partner, [after 1874]. At top of leaf, illustration of the Western Wall.
Letter filled in by him with his stamp, to the philanthropist Moshe Shalem, Izmir, Adar I 1878.
In the letter, R. Avraham Eliyahu Bin Nun recounts the financial pressure and his poverty after the death of his great father, who had supported him until his death.

R. Avraham Eliyahu Bin Nun, a Torah scholar of Jerusalem, brother of R. Yosef Bin Nun, author of Yair Mevin (Jerusalem, 1902). Died at a young age in 1887, leaving behind manuscripts and learned glosses on many books.

This leaf was printed after R. Avraham Eliyahu Bin Nun's bankruptcy and Yitzchak Gościnny's new partnership in 1874.
