Two books by Rebbe Yitzchak Eizik Yehudah Yechiel Safrin Rabbi of Zidichov and Komarno, author of Heichal HaBerachah, first editions, in one volume:
1. Torat Kohanim, with the Asirit HaEfah commentary. Lviv, 1848. First edition.
2. Tractate Shekalim – Talmud Yerushalmi, with the Pnei Zaken commentary. Lviv, 1851. Only edition.
The author, Rebbe Yitzchak Eizik Yehudah Yechiel Safrin, Rabbi of Zidichov and Komarno (1806-1874), leading transmitter of the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov. His books, in particular the Heichal HaBerachah commentary, are considered classic Chassidic works and were cherished by prominent Chassidic leaders.
Two books in one volume. Torat Kohanim: [2], 107, 109-158 leaves. Misfoliation. Pnei Zaken: 28, [1] leaves. Approx. 36 cm. Fair-good condition. Many stains, including dampstains (large dampstains and dark stains to some leaves). Light wear. Marginal tears and open tears to title page of Torat Kohanim and several other leaves, affecting text in several places, partially repaired with paper. Two leaves in Torat Kohanim apparently supplied from another copy. Old binding, worn and damaged.
