ספר סופר וספור, סיפורים על סופרים ועל ספרים, חוברו על ידי שמואל יוסף עגנון. ירושלים, [תרצ"ח 1938].

הספר נדפס כשי לכבוד שלמה זלמן שוקן, במלאת לו ששים שנה. בפתח הספר דברי-הקדשה מאת עגנון: "חזרתי על דברים הרבה ולא מצאתי ללב מתנה טובה מקיבוץ סיפורים על ספרים וסופרים".

עותק מספר 3 מתוך מהדורה בת 120 עותקים ממוספרים, שנדפסו על נייר איכותי באותיות שחורות ואדומות.

גרסתה המורחבת של האנתולוגיה "ספר, סופר וספור" ראתה אור בשנת תשל"ח, ככרך השביעי בסדרת כתביו של עגנון שיצאו לאור לאחר מותו. באחרית הדבר שבמהדורה זו, תיארה אמונה ירון, בתו של עגנון, את גלגוליו של הספר, שראשיתו במהדורה שלפנינו (על פי עדותה, עגנון עבד על האנתולוגיה למעלה משלושים שנה, ולא זכה להשלימה).
