This book is the source for many known segulot and protection amulets for women giving birth. Just owning this book in your house is a proven segula of protection from harm and fire, as written on the title page of this book: "A great segula for seeing wise and clever grandchildren, for success and blessing, to extinguish fire that it should not rule in his home, and all devils and harm that should not strike his residence, for anyone who has this holy and honored book with him, hidden with his silver and gold in his treasury and his stronghold, in time of distress it will bring him speedy salvation. All bnei Torah will testify and tell this".
