The author, R. Yehoshua Heshel Efrati (d. 1852), was a close disciple of the Ohev Yisrael of Apta, whom he quotes extensively in this work. Rabbi of Tartakov, Pomorin and Chołojów.
[2], 102, [1]; [1], 104-145 leaves. 23.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Worming to title page and several other leaves, affecting text, with slight damage to first title page border. Margins of title page reinforced with paper. New binding.
