Seven parts in two volumes.
The first six parts comprise essays printed based on the author's manuscript. Part VII contains essays recorded by his listeners and edited by him.
2 volumes. Vol. I (parts I-IV): [4], 48, [2]; [2], 57; [2], 50; [2], 80 leaves. [2] leaves with list of abbreviations bound at end of part I (originally bound at end of part VI). Vol. II (parts V-VII): [2], 105, [1]; [2], 49; [2], 74, [1]; 15 leaves. Two title pages for each part. Approx. 32 cm. Overall good condition. Stains. Minor traces of past dampness in vol. I. Minor wear. Minor marginal creases and tears to several leaves. Several leaves and back board of vol. II partially detached. Handwritten inscriptions. Bindings old and damaged.
