Ein Yaakov, collection of Aggadot by R. Yaakov ibn Habib, two parts. [Thessaloniki: Yehudah Gedaliah, ca. 1516-1522].
Both parts of the first edition, in two volumes. The first volume was published by the author and the second volume by the author's son, R. Levi ibn Habib. Both parts were printed without a title page.


Two volumes. Volume I: 2-26, 30-57, [2], 58-138, 140-144, 146-198 leaves; 392-394, 385-390, 401-403, 396-403 pages. Missing first leaf and leaves 27-29, pp. 394-395, 404-405 (all four from the last sequence), and [18] last pages. Volume II: 147-310, 315-421, [7] pages (last page is blank), [15] leaves. Missing pp. 1-146, 311-314, and last leaf. Blank leaves bound between the leaves in several places in second volume. Approx. 29 cm. Fair-poor condition. Many stains, including heavy dampstains. Heavy traces of past dampness in second volume, with many mold stains. Heavy wear. Many tears, including open tears affecting text in many places, partially repaired with paper (much tape to first volume). One leaf in the second volume is torn and disconnected. Some of the leaves appear to have been supplied from other copies. Old bindings (non-uniform), damaged (spine of one volume torn).
