2. Jerusalem from the road leading to Bethany. Published by F.G. Moon, [London], 1841. Signed, titled and dated in the plate (1839).
3. Tiberias. Published by F.G. Moon [London], 1844. Signed, titled and dated in the plate (1839).
David Roberts (1796-1864), active in London, was among the 19th century pioneer artists who traveled to the Near East to draw its landscapes and distribute their works in Europe. Roberts drew watercolors in situ, later transforming them into lithographs available for the public.
