Zohar, Bereshit, Shemot, Vayikra-Bamidbar-Devarim (complete set). Slavita, [1809-1810]. Printed by Rabbi Dov Ber Segal. Approbations by the Rahak Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Voltchisak–Tiberias, Rabbi Yehuda Leibush Auerbach of Torczyn etc. All approbations hint to the "Owner of the printing press in Slavita" who already received approbation from Rabbi Ya'akov Shimshon who has sole rights ["Owner of the printing press" is Rabbi Moshe Shapira Rabbi of Slavita, who for various reasons concealed himself at that time under the name of his partners, Rabbi Dov Ber Segal and Rabbi Dov Ber son of Rabbi Pesach].
Signatures and owners' inscriptions [from Safed and Jerusalem] from various times: "Given to me by my honorable father-in-law, M. David ---, David Zvi ---", "Yehuda Leib Kaufman Katz", "Yehoshua Adler of Kryvičy" etc.
Four parts in three volumes: [3], 253, 253-256, [8] leaves; 269, [3] leaves; 115 leaves; [1], 117-299, [1] leaf. Approx. 20 cm. High-quality bluish-greenish paper. Overall good condition, stains and wear, moth damage and wear to several leaves. Owners' signatures from various times. Old non-original bindings.
