Ha-Gaon Rabbi Abdallah Somekh (1813-1889) was a Rosh Yeshiva and Posek of Iraqi Jewry and Rabbi of the Ben Ish Ha. See A. Ben Ya'akov's book "Toldot Harav Abdallah Somekh" (Jerusalem, 1949) and introduction to writer's biography by I. Zamir – in "Zivhei Tsedek", Ahavat Shalom edition (Jerusalem, 2003).
