Ashkenaz Poland version Machzor for all year round, including “Kavanat Ha’Paitan” in Yiddish (Ashkenaz version). Amsterdam, [1781].
Ownership signature of Maharam Ginsberg from Heginhein (author of “Mizmor L’Todah”, Basel 1821) appears upon the page prior to the title page: “This Machzor… belongs to the young man… Maharam son of… Moshe David… from the holy congregation of Heginheim located in the Upper Galilee of Elssas… said Meir who is referred to as Maharam Ginsberg”. Upon last page an additional inscription. “In remembrance, this Machzor… was lost on the day of the earthquake on the seventh day of Pesach 1848, and was returned to me… Mahram Ginsberg”.
Ownership stamps: “Avraham Yosef Froilich, Shochet and Bodek (slaughterer and examiner) of the holy congregation of Frankfurt-Tzelsheim”.
36; 176 leaves. 14cm (miniature). Good-fair condition. Wear and minor tears in the margins of the pages. Original binding, worn and damaged.
