The book originally comprised 14 compositions (listed on the second title page), including books on the Torah, prayer, commentaries, laws, and more, by R. David Lida and others, compiled by R. Petachia son of R. David and his son-in-law R. Moshe Mirels. The present copy only includes the first part, with the Five Books of the Torah (Tikkun Sofrim) with Onkelos, Rashi and other commentaries, and a brief commentary on the Haftarot.
On the front endpaper, signatures of Yehuda Luzzatto and his son Moshe. The book contains dozens of glosses in Italian script by Moshe Luzzatto, in which he repeatedly refers to the text of a manuscript Rashi. In several glosses, he quotes Shadal (Samuel David Luzzatto). Most the glosses are in Hebrew, several glosses are in Italian. Two are dated: Nissan 1874 and Iyar 1894.

Worming, affecting title page border. Tears and open tears to title page and margins of other leaves, affecting engraved border, repaired in part with paper. Old leather binding (ca. 19th century), damaged.
