An annotated scientific edition of the works of Flavius Josephus, with the Greek text facing the Latin text (on two columns). Two volumes containing the works "Antiquities of the Jews", "The Life of Flavius Josephus", "Wars of the Jews", "Against Apion", and more. Followed by indices, supplements, corrections and list of subscribers (English).
The book was edited and proofread by the English scholar and Keeper of the Bodleian Library, John Hudson (1662-1719) and was published several months after his death by his friend and colleague, the historian and cleric Anthony Hall (1679-1729), who added an introduction.
